Experience History

Learning from our past is more than just listening to facts. It means doing. Doing the jobs of the early settlers, experiencing life like the settlers, and at times pretending to be the settlers.

So come out and take a step back in time. Play along with our residents and truly immerse yourself into the story of Big Cypress.

Going Beyond History

Will You Join Us?

Our open-air museum is unique for North Harris County because we are the only one. We are open to the general public the LAST Saturday of each month. However, we are conducting school tours most days of the week. If the flags are out, feel free to drop in.
