The Klein, TX Historical Foundation featuring Wunderlich Farm.
Plan your visit today to come experience our quiet oasis that rests among the bustling suburbs of northwest Harris County. At the farm, you will see how the rural heritage of the early Klein community and families is preserved.
Here is a list of some of our upcoming events. Put them on your calendar now so you don’t forget. Check back often as new events are always in the planning.
Market and Museum Days
Join us and step back in time as you shop local merchants. This is the only market on an actual farmstead. Explore history and shop local vendors all under 150 year old trees. Open Jan 30, Feb 27, March 27, April 24, May 29.
What was Christmas like in the Big Cypress area before the modern era? Come out and explore our families in the 1880s, 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. Watch families interact and see what traditions our families enjoyed.
Pictures with Santa
Take your family pictures with Santa right here in the historical setting of Wunderlich Farm. While the festival is canceled we couldn’t stop Kris Kringle from coming into town.
Learning from our past is more than just listening to facts. It means doing. Doing the jobs of the early settlers, experiencing life like the settlers, and at times pretending to be the settlers.
So come out and take a step back in time. Play along with our residents and truly immerse yourself into the story of Big Cypress.
